3D Minute: African Forest Elephants

The African Forest Elephants, found in particularly forested areas of Central Africa, gather by the hundreds in clearings to dig for minerals, which allow them to digest the often tough and sometimes poisonous plants they eat.  This herd, filmed in the Central African Republic, lives in a guarded national park, to protect the animals from poachers.  To learn more about these jungle jumbos, watch our interview with elephant expert Andrea Turkalo
