Chicago's famous venue for astronomy, the Adler Planetarium, was built in Chicago on the shores of Lake Michigan in 1930, and features two full-sized planetarium theaters. It can be found next to the Shedd Aquarium and the Chicago Field Musem. Location: 41°51′58.15″N 87°36′24.03″W. Click the arrow below to see a slice of urban life in Chicago's "Science District."
