3D Minute: Indian Peacock

 

This beautiful creature is native to India, although it has been domesticated and exported over the past two centuries.  Actually known as Peafowl, the male of the species is called a Peacock while the female is called a Peahen (and the babies, Peachicks).  The male is the most striking, particularly when displaying his fan of colorful plumes, usually to attract mates.  Click the arrow in the box below to watch the Peacock in a quieter moment.
